Rev. Greg Javaux, our Pastor, was called to Silvis Heights Baptist Church in August of 1999 and began his ministry in October, 1999. He and his wife Stephanie were married in 1986 just after they had both graduated from college.
Pastor graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies. In May 1989 he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. Following seminary he was the associate Pastor of Christian Education and Evangelism at Rives Baptist Church, Rives Junction, Michigan. In April 1993 God directed the Javaux's to Chatfield, Minnesota where he was the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. While there he began work on a Doctor of Ministry degree in counseling through Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis.
Pastor Javaux and Stephanie have four children, Sarah, Hannah, Stephen, and Rebekah.
